Francis Goes Hiking
Francis was thinking about going on a hiking trip, so he dropped in on his friend Mike to ask him if he wanted to go, too. "Sorry, buddy, but there's this conference that I have to attend. I wish I could get out of it somehow, but I can't," Mike told him. Francis decided to go by himself. He was trying to think of everything he'd need and put it down on a list.In the morning, he packed, made a route from one side of the forest to the other and he was on his way. Once he got half way through, he got confused. "The directions just don't add up," he realized as he saw two arrows pointing at different directions. He chose one and followed it. A couple of hours later, he found himself back where he started. Looking back on that day, Francis always smiles thinking how whenever he has two options, he always chooses the wrong one.
